After dropping the first set, the 38-year-old Serbian dominated the remainder of the match to win 4-6 6-3 6-2 6-4 and will now face world number one Jannik Sinner, who advanced with a commanding straight-sets victory over Alexander Bublik.
Djokovic, aiming for his fourth French Open crown, will meet Sinner in Friday’s semi-final, with the winner to face either Carlos Alcaraz or Lorenzo Musetti in the final.
