Nottingham Forest have dismissed manager Ange Postecoglou following a 0-3 home loss to Chelsea that left the club teetering above the Premier League relegation zone in 17th place.
The defeat marked Forest’s eighth winless game under the Australian, making him the first manager in club history to fail to secure a victory in his opening eight matches.
Owner Evangelos Marinakis left his seat early as Chelsea’s Pedro Neto inspired the visitors with a goal and an assist, while Josh Acheampong and Reece James also scored.
Despite showing promise early, Forest missed key chances and were met with boos at full-time as Chelsea climbed to fourth.
