Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan, 37, remains barred from bowling in international cricket after failing a reassessment of his bowling action in Chennai.
The ban, which originated after his bowling action was flagged during a County Championship match for Surrey, extends across international and domestic competitions outside Bangladesh.
While eligible to play as a specialist batter, Shakib has announced plans to retire from international cricket after the Champions Trophy in March.
With no Test matches before the tournament, Bangladesh must decide whether to include their former captain solely as a batter in the 50-over squad.
The slow left-arm spinner was initially suspended after tests at Loughborough revealed his elbow extension exceeded the allowed 15-degree limit.
