Relegation-threatened Tottenham’s desperate season deepened as Fulham claimed a deserved 2-1 victory at Craven Cottage, stretching Spurs’ winless league run to ten games — their worst such streak since 1994.
Harry Wilson’s controversial seventh-minute opener, which new Spurs manager Igor Tudor protested should have been ruled out for a foul, was followed by a superb Alex Iwobi strike to put Fulham firmly in control, and though substitute Richarlison pulled one back in the 66th minute, Spurs couldn’t find an equaliser.
The defeat leaves Tottenham 16th in the table, just four points above the relegation zone with ten games remaining, having now conceded six goals across two losses since Tudor took charge following the sacking of Thomas Frank.
