Las Vegas GP secures decade-long future in F1

Las Vegas Grand Prix

Formula One has committed to racing in Las Vegas until at least 2037 after agreeing to a 10-year extension that cements the event’s place on the calendar.

Since its return in 2023, the race has become one of the city’s biggest annual attractions, transforming a traditionally quiet tourism period into a major economic driver.

F1’s investment, including a US$500 million purpose-built paddock and pit complex near the famous Las Vegas Strip, helped secure local support and establish the event as a long-term fixture.

According to organisers, the Grand Prix has generated more than US$3.2 billion in economic activity for the city since its launch, with officials describing the race as a global showcase that has strengthened Las Vegas’ reputation as a leading destination for sport, entertainment and major international events.
