Maeda magic keeps Celtic title charge alive

A stunning overhead kick from Daizen Maeda inspired Celtic F.C. to a dramatic comeback win over Rangers F.C. in a gripping Old Firm clash, keeping the Scottish Premiership title race alive.

Rangers had taken an early lead through Mikey Moore before Hyun-Jun Yang levelled before halftime, but Maeda dominated the second half by first finishing a Kieran Tierney cross and then producing a spectacular bicycle kick that sealed the victory.

The result leaves Celtic just one point behind league leaders Heart of Midlothian F.C. with two matches remaining, while confirming Rangers will finish third after suffering a third straight league defeat.

Celtic have now won six consecutive matches and remain firmly in contention for another Premiership crown heading into a potentially decisive final-day showdown.
