North Korea’s under-17 women’s football team claimed a record fourth FIFA Women’s World Cup title after defeating the Netherlands 3–0 in Rabat, Morocco.
The reigning champions, who previously won in 2008, 2016, and 2024, scored all their goals in the first half to secure their second consecutive championship and become the most successful nation in tournament history.
Their unbeaten campaign featured emphatic victories over Morocco, Japan, and Brazil before the final. The triumph also saw North Korean players sweep the top awards, with Yu Jong-hyang earning both the Golden Ball and Golden Boot after scoring eight goals.
