Thirteen clubs, including four from New Zealand, have been shortlisted for the inaugural OFC Professional League set to begin in January 2026.
From an initial pool of 24 applicants, these clubs will now undergo a licensing phase to determine the final eight teams, with a cap of two clubs per OFC Member Association and one from Australia.
The league, running from January to May, will feature 17 matches per team, circuit series rounds across the Pacific, and a playoff format splitting teams into “Leaders” and “Challengers” groups before culminating in semi-finals and a grand final.
Final selections will be confirmed in September.
