Oscar Piastri strengthened his championship advantage with victory in a chaotic Dutch Grand Prix, where McLaren team mate Lando Norris retired late with a mechanical failure.
Starting from pole, Piastri held off Max Verstappen and built a commanding lead, while Norris initially challenged before disaster struck just laps from the finish.
Multiple Safety Cars – including one triggered by Lewis Hamilton’s crash and another following Charles Leclerc’s collision with rookie Kimi Antonelli – kept the race tense, but Piastri held firm to take his seventh win of the season and extend his lead to 34 points. Verstappen finished second, rookie Isack Hadjar celebrated a maiden podium in third, George Russell claimed fourth, and Alex Albon stormed from P15 to fifth.
Kiwi Liam Lawson crossed the line in 12th.
