After her first-round loss to Sofia Kenin at the US Open, Emma Raducanu said she wants to play more matches before future Grand Slam tournaments to improve her match sharpness.
Raducanu lost the match 6-1 3-6 6-4.
Raducanu, who won the US Open as a teenage qualifier in 2021, acknowledged that her limited preparation this year contributed to her defeat.
She has faced an injury-plagued year but remains optimistic about her progress since returning to the tour.
