The man who received a restraining order for stalking British tennis star Emma Raducanu earlier this year has been caught trying to apply for Wimbledon tickets.
The All England Club’s security system flagged and blocked his entry in the public ballot.
Raducanu, 22, was left distressed during a match at the Dubai Tennis Championships in February after spotting the man, who had followed her across four tournaments.
He had previously approached her with a letter and taken her photo near her hotel.
The incident, which led to police intervention, highlighted gaps in communication between her team and tournament authorities.
Raducanu later said the situation could have been handled better but that she now has increased security and no longer travels alone.
