The One New Zealand Warriors have secured a spot on the prestigious Deloitte Fast 50 list, ranking 36th and standing as the sole sporting organisation on the index.
The list celebrates New Zealand’s fastest-growing businesses, with rankings determined by revenue growth over the last three years. The Warriors achieved a remarkable 145% revenue increase, fuelled by their return to New Zealand after three years of COVID-19 isolation in Australia.
The resurgence coincided with record-setting achievements, including being the first NRL club to sell out every home game in a season and exponential growth in sponsorship, membership, and merchandise revenue.
The Warriors’ performance extended to attendance milestones during their 30th season, with a combined home crowd of 295,302 surpassing their debut season’s tally in 1995.
CEO Cameron George said he was proud to be the only sports team on the list, attributing the success to the team’s resilience, innovation, and the dedication of its staff.
