Domo (Nasdaq: DOMO) today unveiled a special second edition of its Data Never Sleeps: AI Edition infographic, which focuses on AI and its growth over the past year.
As an extension of Domo’s annual Data Never Sleeps (DNS) report, this edition provides a deep dive into the immense amount of AI data generated on the internet every minute and its impact on our everyday lives.
“Over the past year, we’ve witnessed AI move from the periphery to the center of how we create, work, and solve problems,” said Ben Schein, SVP of Product at Domo. “What’s fascinating isn’t just the technology itself, but how quickly people have woven AI into the fabric of their daily lives. This report showcases that transformation in real-time, showing us the human behaviors behind the AI revolution.”
Some highlights from the 2025 “Data Never Sleeps: AI Edition” report include:
- AI commitment: Global spend on AI every minute skyrocketed from $293K last year to over $1.21M — that’s a 312% increase. Additionally, AI startups raise $184,046 in VC funding, and 1.9M computer chips are sold every sixty seconds.
- AI breakouts: The last year has seen incredible breakthroughs in the AI space. From the rise of LLM DeepSeek, which now processes over 347K queries every minute, to Agentic AI, which also rose from the shadows – and every 60 seconds, nearly 35 agents are created as Custom GPTs.
- Double-edged sword: For every productivity increase, organizations and individuals can use AI for irritating or illegal means, as Americans received 109,444 robocalls each minute.
- Upskilling and productivity impact: As AI grows more common in the workplace, every minute employees save 1.23M hours, adding up to over 140 years of productivity gained. And, as the workforce continues to desire AI skills more, six people enroll in GenAI courses every sixty seconds.
“The data highlights the hunger people have for tools that amplify their capabilities,” continued Schein. “Whether it’s a student getting help with homework or an employee using AI agents to streamline their workflow, people are embracing AI not as a replacement for human intelligence, but as a partner in getting things done. At Domo, we’re seeing this firsthand as our customers turn to AI to unlock insights from their data.”

AI never sleeps alright, talk about overthinking, I asked Google if Ruth Richardson had a husband and Google said yes, she was married to Mr Bill English! So yes, there are glaring errors and probably more than ever foreseen.
There’s an enormous difference between marriage and collaboration.
