14 killed after roof collapses at train station in Serbia

In Novi Sad, Serbia, a roof collapse at a train station claimed the lives of at least 14 people and injured 30 others.

The collapse occurred around noon on Friday, with surveillance footage capturing people in the station moments before the roof plummeted, burying them beneath the rubble.

Rescue operations, involving dozens of emergency personnel, continue as authorities work to clear debris.

President Aleksandar Vucic vowed accountability for those responsible, and a national day of mourning has been declared for Saturday.
