Detectives in Victoria are examining a historical sexual assault allegation made by actress and model Ruby Rose against Katy Perry, relating to an incident said to have occurred at a Melbourne nightclub in 2010.
Rose, who initially shared the claim on social media before deleting the post, confirmed she has now submitted formal reports and has been asked by police not to comment further.
Authorities say the investigation concerns an alleged assault at a licensed CBD venue, while Perry, the partner of former Canadian PM Justin Trudeau, has firmly rejected the accusation, describing it as false and harmful through a spokesperson.
