Brazen drone attack targets Netanyahu’s home

A drone attack believed to be launched by Hezbollah from Lebanon targeted Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s private residence in Caesarea early Saturday local time.

The drone exploded near the property, but neither Netanyahu nor his wife were present at the time.

No injuries were reported.

The incident was part of a series of drone launches from Lebanon, with Israeli forces intercepting two other drones.

Residents in Caesarea reported hearing a buzzing sound followed by an explosion, though no warning sirens were activated before the impact.

The drone strike was part of a broader assault by Hezbollah, which included rocket attacks on northern Israeli cities such as Safed, Haifa, and Tiberias.

Israeli forces responded with airstrikes, killing key Hezbollah commanders and targeting weapon caches and missile launchers. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported that ongoing military action has resulted in the deaths of at least 1,500 Hezbollah operatives since the conflict escalated in September.
