‘Climate change’ CO2 narrative contradicted by global cooling trend and data

CO2 climate change news

New climate data questions mainstream climate science and fuelled debate over the role of carbon dioxide in global temperature trends and the reliability of official climate narratives.

A study covering 400,000 years of climate history, asserts that CO₂ levels had no direct influence on warming during past interglacial periods. It references the Eemian period, which occurred between 130,000 and 114,000 years ago. During that time, global temperatures were reportedly 2°C higher than today, while atmospheric CO₂ concentrations were 120 parts per million lower. “Explain that to the IPCC,” researcher Peter Clack challenged, questioning the current emphasis on CO₂ as a primary driver of “climate change”.

New data also reports a 0.6°C global cooling this year, with researchers asking why such a drop has occurred if ENSO (El Niño–Southern Oscillation) conditions are currently neutral.

“They forgot to include a cooling mechanism in their CO₂ theory,” scientist Javier Vinos wrote, suggesting existing models fail to account for sudden shifts. Also noted was the cooling influence of the 2022 Tonga volcanic eruption — often cited for recent climate anomalies — is now waning, while more solar radiation appears to be escaping Earth’s atmosphere.

Meanwhile the claim that Greenland’s ice is melting at record speeds has been labelled “misinformation” by prominent meteorologist John Shewchuk, with recent data showing the opposite — showing Greenland is gaining or maintaining ice mass, not losing it.

  1. This must be a ” conspiracy theory”, surely, a mis, dis and mal information article that needs censoring. Our “truth tellers” have told us the earth is boiling and all carbon must be exterminated, I mean eliminated, I mean reduced to acceptable levels to satisfy them.
