Disgraced ex-UN official takes over Red Cross

Pierre Krahenbuhl news
Pierre Krahenbuhl (L), Maria Mohammedi (R). Krahenbuh is alleged to have been romantically involved with Mohammedi and promoted her to fly her around the world.

Pierre Krahenbuhl was accused of using the organization’s money to take his married girlfriend traveling.

The Red Cross announced on Friday that the disgraced former head of the UN’s agency for Palestine, Pierre Krahenbuhl, will take over as director-general of the organization. Krahenbuhl was ousted from the middle-eastern role amid allegations of sexual misconduct, nepotism, and other abuses of authority.

“The Assembly of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) has appointed Pierre Krahenbuhl as the organization’s next director-general,” it said in a statement. “He is recognized as a strategic and purpose-driven leader with deep organizational experience and dedication to the ICRC.”

Krahenbuhl, a Swiss national, has worked with the ICRC since 1991, and oversaw the organization’s response to armed conflicts in Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Syria, and other countries. He was appointed commissioner-general of the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) in 2014.

The UNRWA launched an internal investigation into alleged misconduct by Krahenbuhl in 2019. Along with other senior figures in the organization, Krahenbuhl was accused of mismanaging funds and appointing personal friends to key positions. As commissioner-general, Krahenbuhl was accused of inventing a job for his married girlfriend and using agency funds to take her on work trips with him.

The scandal exacerbated a funding crisis at UNRWA, as the US and UK dramatically cut their contributions to the agency. Krahenbuhl resigned, and was subsequently cleared of most wrongdoing.

Speaking to Swiss media following his resignation, Krahenbuhl claimed that he was a “victim of dirty politics,” and blamed an unnamed US official for ginning up the allegations to force him out of the agency.

At the time, the Israeli government and the administration of former US President Donald Trump were accusing UNRWA of anti-Israel “politicization.”

  1. ‘Cleared of wrong-doing’…
Everyone knows that most organisations have people who hire relatives, and take them on ‘business’related trips’ or on ‘working holidays’.
    CDHB knows alllll about that!!!!
    BUT-
The fact that Krehenbuhl criticised Israel (which has since shown itself to be an unethical, genocidal murderous state…) is tantamount to the targeting that the Zionist infiltration has become in many Nation / States.
Trump was especially rude to the IRC, and is proven to be a Zionist-policy enforcer, based on his son-in-law Jared Kushner (a Mossad asset) running the White House, and the fact that Trump pissed-off the Arab & Islamic World by recognising Jerusalem as the ‘Capitol of Israel’, and violated International Law by endorsing the illegal J3wi$h / Israeli settlements on Palestinian and Bedouin land.
Trump moved the Embassy and Consulate to Jerusalem as well.
Trump is deeply compromised by the Israeli lobby, and the son-in-law probably has the goods on him as well.
I would vote for Ramaswarmey if I were still registered and not renunciated- but the J3w$ have heavily damaged the world of Western nations that there may be no recovery from the decades of damage.
Those nations that have not yet been targeted should take care, and NOT get involved with the likes of Israel, and the various J3wi$h lobbies globally!

      SHUT UP ALREADY

STOP CUTTING AND PASTING FROM YOUR SEWER

  2. The Red Cross is a deeply flawed organization. Years ago, when there was an earthquake in Pakistan, the Red Cross was giving out food to the survivors. They were asking the religions of people: Starving Christians were denied food and turned away whilst Muslims were given food.

Also, I have seen videos from many sources where the Red Cross has crates full of money. They seem to hoard money for some reason rather than using it where it is needed. Frequently when a disaster happens and people are asked to contribute whilst being show a “tear jerking” disaster advert, the money does not go to that event but is mostly kept for the future.

Many have said that it is better not to contribute to the Red Cross, and instead, contribute directly to charities “on the ground” where it will make a difference.
