Erdogan says Netanyahu is literally ‘Hitler’

Erdogan - Netanyahu news

The only difference between the Nazi fuhrer and Israeli’s PM is the Western support the latter enjoys, the Turkish leader says.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is no different from Adolf Hitler, Türkiye’s president, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, has said, condemning Israel’s campaign in Gaza.

Erdogan fired the new diplomatic broadside at Netanyahu on Wednesday when he delivered an opening speech at an award ceremony in Ankara. West Jerusalem now has “Nazi camps” of its own to hold Palestinians in, the president stated, implying the campaign in Gaza was as bad – or even worse – than the Holocaust committed by Nazi Germany.

“We’ve seen the Nazi camps of Israel. How does this happen? They used to speak ill about Hitler, but how are you any different than Hitler?” Erdogan stated.

They are going to make us miss Hitler. Is what this Netanyahu is doing any less than what Hitler did? It is not.

The only real difference between the late Nazi fuhrer and the Israeli PM is the broad support from the West for Netanyahu and his campaign against Hamas, the Turkish leader claimed.

“He is richer than Hitler; he gets the support from the West. All sorts of support comes from the United States. And what did they do with all this support? They killed more than 20,000 Gazans,” he stressed.

Türkiye’s president has long sought to portray himself as a protector of Palestinians, repeatedly criticizing Israeli policies. Erdogan drastically ramped up his rhetoric amid the ongoing conflict in Gaza, which broke out in the aftermath of the attack by the Palestinian militant group Hamas on southern Israel on October 7.

The new remarks, arguably the most hostile ones produced by Erdogan to date, have prompted a response from Netanyahu. Israeli PM dismissed the criticism, pointing fingers at Erdogan’s questionable account and allegations of committing genocide in Türkiye and beyond.

“Erdogan, who commits genocide against the Kurds, who holds a world record for imprisoning journalists who oppose his rule, is the last person who can preach morality to us,” Netanyahu stated, falling short of accusing Erdogan of being the true Hitler himself.

The Israeli military is the “most moral army in the world,” and it is currently battling “the most disgusting and cruel terrorist group in the world,” Netanyahu added, referring to Hamas.

  1. While we’re making these observations, I wonder if Erdogan’s ever heard of the Byzantines or what his ottoman ancestors did to acquire the lands he now presides over.

Also wonder why he refuses to accept Palestinian refugees if he apparently loves them so much.

    Funny guy…

    • Or the Crusades, or the 250,000 Greek Cypriotes that the Jews slaughtered in Cypress that kicked off the second Jewish rebellion against the Roman Empire that got them expelled from Judea, so many examples but they were all from a time when this was the norm, are Jews bring back the norm?

      • No idea, man. Not an expert on jews, not a fan of Bibi either.

I just don’t like hypocrites who stand on ceremony and cast aspersions on others when their country is paved atop the skulls of a thousand genocided peoples who came before. Glass houses and all that 🤷🏼‍♂️

History is very bloody, as you’ve mentioned above. Frankly NOBODY should be virtue signaling on the world stage like this. This guy’s a weak little authoritarian dingbat who fancies himself an ottoman sultan.

        • Then you as a White(?) Male(?) should be the first to shut the Fu*k up (sarc), me however thinks everything is on the table and should be put out there and I have Erdogan’s back on this and yours for bring up Turkeys past but using it to shut him down is not productive. BTW you should try to be more of an expert on Jews/Israel ( same/same) as they have the ear (and maybe more) of America.

          • Nah, don’t misunderstand me, I don’t think he should be shut down. Happy to have him say whatever he wants, no matter how idiotic. I just don’t like hypocrites (and there are hypocrites on all sides as you’ve mentioned). If Bibi had been the one making grandiose statements, he’d deserve to be called out as well, but that’s not what the article is about.

Honestly hard to form an informed opinion on Jews when half the people out there say they’re the most unfairly persecuted innocent people in history while the other half insist they’re the root of all evil, sneakily pulling the levers behind every evil that has befallen mankind since Eve ate the apple. I’d rather just acknowledge I don’t know enough about it all and just keep an open mind. The truth is probably somewhere in the middle.

Again, neither pro nor anti Israel. I just don’t like people like Erdogan denouncing someone else as evil while they’re standing on the crushed skulls of history.

And RE the sarcastic comment, I’ll have you know I’m NOT a f*cking white male. I clearly identify as a green and white duck!! Respect my choices!!

  2. Recep Tayyip Erdogan is a nasty guy. I think he has forgotten all the Kurds that he has killed. Also, that his country committed a genocide again over 1.25 million Armenian Christians at the end of World War 1. He refuses to acknowledge this and refuses to apologize.

He also wants to undo the progress made by Atta-Turk (aka Mustafa Kemal) in creating a secular state.

  3. Erdogan the ottoman has the blood of thousands of Kurds on his hands and his support of ISIS who slit the throats of thousands of Yazidis, coptics and sufis is legendary. Bibi Netanyahu was right however Haj Amin al Husseini – the ex Grand Mufti of Jerusalem’s approach to extermination, was difficult to beat. He told Hitler how to do it in Auschwitz.

  4. Some say the Haj Amin al Husseini visited Nazi Germany in 1942/3 and suggested “the final solution” as a way to eliminate all the Jews in Europe. It was only because of a lot of political maneuvering after World War 2 that he was not hung at Nuremberg. A very nasty man.
