Global demonstrations protest Iranian government

Demonstrations were held in multiple cities worldwide attracting hundreds of thousands following calls from exiled figure Reza Pahlavi for coordinated international protests against Iran’s government.

Pahlavi used public appearances to criticise Iran’s leadership and express support for protesters inside the country, while his daughter Noor Pahlavi urged the United States to end nuclear negotiations with Iranian authorities.

Comments from US President Donald Trump suggested support for potential political change in Iran, though he questioned Pahlavi’s ability to gain internal support.

The demonstrations follow unrest inside Iran that began in late December, initially driven by economic pressures and a sharp currency devaluation.

  1. So protest’s held everywhere (is everywhere the USA?) but not Iran and they want to overthrow the Iranian government. Wont that result in the deaths of innocent Iranians? Suffice to say this sounds like Venezuela all over again.

  2. The images in the tweet from UK Report are from the “NO KINGS” protests held across the United States on June 14, 2025 and have nothing to do with Iran.

This is Israeli disinformation and it is a disappointment that the Daily Telegraph can’t do it’s own due diligence on the stories it publishes rather than become a vehicle for Zionist propaganda.

Over 26 million Iranians took to the streets to celebrate the 47th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 yet received no such coverage because it doesn’t support the narrative of the Israeli and U.S warmongers.

Several hundred to several thousand “protestors” turned out in various cities across the West consisting of the monarchist supporting segment of the Iranian diaspora joined by Zionists and an assortment of paid protestors but the numbers stated in the Western media were highly exaggerated and photographic and video evidence does not support such claims.

When the media publishes fabricated information as truth in order to bang the drums of war you have to ask yourself who is behind it.

    Please do better.
