US Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris has come under fire for a campaign ad aimed at winning over black male voters, which critics have labelled as “dehumanising.”
The ad, shared on Instagram and Snapchat, mimics a dating-game scenario where a black man is questioned by women about his income and physical fitness before they ask if he plans to vote.
His indifferent response leads to the women popping their balloons, with a message encouraging viewers to vote on Election Day.
The ad sparked criticism online, with many accusing Harris of insulting black men rather than engaging them respectfully.
Social media users expressed frustration, saying the ad felt patronising and failed to meaningfully connect with the target audience.
“Democrats continue to dehumanize and insult black men and try to shame and pressure them into only voting for them.”

Despite high-profile endorsements and celebrity appearances at campaign rallies, Harris continues to struggle in securing support from male voters, trailing by 11 points according to a recent poll, and with some pundits predicting at least one in four black male voters will support Trump.

US politics are a repulsive joke. I think no one would ever think that its anything else. Any party that’s not the uni party gets shut out of the election. Nothing remotely democratic about that. Just look at what they did to Jill Stein.

Kamala sent many a black man to jail for trivial instances when she was a prosecutor in the People’s Republik of Kalifornia!
& now she wants their vote???
