Senior aides ditch Starmer over Epstein fallout

UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer is facing escalating political pressure after two of his most senior advisers resigned amid controversy surrounding links between a Labour figure and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Communications director Tim Allan stepped down, saying his departure would allow the prime minister to build a new team, just one day after chief of staff Morgan McSweeney resigned, taking responsibility for advising Starmer to appoint Peter Mandelson as UK ambassador to the United States despite Mandelson’s known past association with Epstein.

Mandelson resigned from the diplomatic role, the Labour Party and the House of Lords following the release of new Epstein-related documents last month.

Starmer has previously apologised to Epstein’s victims over the appointment, while political opponents have called for him to accept responsibility and resign, with critics accusing the government of creating instability and damaging public trust.

Again j**s all over the place. Like all european’s governents
No wonder Europe goes down the drain. None of them have the people’s interests at hart, but the interests of the genocidals.

  2. This UK so called Labour government is already a train wreck. Fascist style hate speech laws, arresting people for absurdities, in some cases not even words but what they are thinking, is pure Orwellian 1984. Time this creature admits defeat and slithers off somewhere. Hey maybe move to Boston and writes a kids book or two as a lead in to a self aggrandising autobiography?
