Consultant cardiologist Dr. Aseem Malhotra delivered a speech at the Reform UK conference, warning that the medical system has been “hijacked by commercial interests” and is failing patients through misinformation and biased research.
He argued that evidence-based medicine has become distorted by profit-driven pharmaceutical companies, with doctors and regulators complicit in practices that harm patients.
Citing research, Malhotra, who also serves as a senior advisor to US Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS), claimed that a large portion of healthcare brings no benefit, and raised concerns over statins and COVID-19 ‘vaccines’, saying the latter caused widespread harm.
He criticised regulatory bodies such as the MHRA for their reliance on industry funding and called for drug trials to be independently conducted.
Malhotra also linked the influence of corporations to lobbying, media capture, and suppression of dissenting voices. He urged reforms to the NHS through greater transparency, informed consent, and lifestyle-based healthcare, and promoted his involvement with Action World Health, co-founded by Nigel Farage.
Closing his speech, Malhotra said Britain must resist “corporate tyranny” and return to integrity in healthcare, declaring, “Health is the real wealth.”
Health care is a mirage.
