Spectators at Melbourne Park gave the Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese a serve.
At the conclusion of last night’s final, won by Italian Jannik Sinner, dignitaries were introduced, starting with Victorian Governor Margret Gardner.
Albanese’s turn came next and the crowd of 15,000 gave him a message that was loud and clear.

Recent polls have shown a decline in Albanese’s approval ratings and a slump in support for his ruling Labor party, attributed to divisive race policies, cost of living pressures and immigration concerns.
A majority of Australians believe the economy will worsen in the next year, and there is a perception that the country, like New Zealand and Canada, is heading in the wrong direction.
Meanwhile Opposition Leader Peter Dutton’s approval ratings have shown improvement in recent times.
