Lock Sam Darry returns to the starting side, replacing captain Patrick Tuipulotu who is out with a knee injury. Consequently, Dalton Papali’i will assume the captaincy. Blues Head Coach Vern Cotter told the team’s website that he wanted them to stick to the basics, which have served the team well throughout the season, such as strong ball carries, breakdown efficiency, and smart decision-making.
