Police overseeing the search for missing kayaker Gregory Flavell on Lake Rotorua are asking anyone who may have seen his paddle to get in touch.
It is a lightweight, black double-ended paddle with Kaituna written on it in red with white outlines.
Coastguard has been out searching on the lake today and is expected to continue tomorrow.
Anyone with any relevant information that may assist Police is asked to please contact 105 and quote event number P051519937.
There is a storm on the lake tonight. The wind has changed to the opposite direction from when Gregory went missing one week ago. I can hear the waves crashing against the shore. I pray Gregory is found soon. ????????
