Paypal gave no specific reasons for the ban, according to the Free Speech Union (FSU) founder Toby Young.
Young told the UK Telegraph that Paypal’s actions were politically motivated and ‘a sinister form of cancel culture.’
FSU often defends the free speech rights of gender-critical academics.
Young told Mark Dolan of GB News that there was ‘no right of appeal, no right of parole. This is the new battlefront of free speech.’
A spokesman for PayPal GB News the company would not comment on the individual case but instead said that the company ‘regularly assesses activity against our long-standing Acceptable Use Policy and will discontinue our relationship with account holders who are found to violate our policies’.
(((Again)))
Time for people to dump PayPal then.
Here’s a new idea and a New Zealand company too!
