Name release: Palmerston North homicide
Police can now name the victim of a homicide in Croydon Avenue, Palmerston North on Sunday 6 August.
He was Hori Te Kouarehua James Gage, 27, of Palmerston North.
The homicide investigation in relation to Hori’s death is ongoing.
Update: Hamilton house fire
Police can now advise that one person has been located deceased following a house fire in Hamilton yesterday morning.
Emergency services were called to the address at 3.05am.
A scene guard is in place and Police will be working at the address today alongside FENZ investigators.
Update: Crash on Te Teko Road, Te Teko
A person has died after being seriously injured in a crash on Te Teko Road on Friday 11 August.
The crash involving two vehicles was reported to Police at around 6.30pm on Friday.
One person was transported to hospital in a critical condition and sadly has died in hospital.
An investigation into the circumstances of the crash is ongoing.
