Two families will be grieving after two early morning fatal crashes on Christmas Day.
One person died following a serious crash involving a car and a truck on SH1/Taieri Plains Highway, Waihola. The crash was reported to Police at about 9.15am. The driver of the car died at the scene.
Another person died following a serious crash involving a motorcycle at the intersection of Broadley Downs and Gordonton Road, Gordonton. The crash was reported to Police just after 9.20am. The motorcyclist died at the scene.
