Former Director-General of Health Dr. Ashley Bloomfield was confronted by Johnny Dylan who accused him of promoting the COVID-19 vaccine to Māori communities, alleging that it would “mess with the whakapapa”.
Bloomfield responded to Dylan’s comments by exiting the stage. Video of the incident, taken yesterday at Waitangi, circulated widely on social media today.
