In a decisive move to safeguard national security, President Donald Trump has revoked the security clearances of several prominent figures from the previous administration.

Among those affected are former Secretary of State Antony Blinken, former National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan, Deputy Attorney General Lisa Monaco, New York Attorney General Letitia James, and Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg.

The action follows the recent revocation of former President Joe Biden’s security clearance, underscoring the administration’s commitment to preventing individuals deemed untrustworthy from accessing sensitive information.

The precedent for the latest actions was set by Joe Biden himself in 2021, when he imposed a similar ban on Trump.
