Canterbury Police want to identify the man in this photo.

“We are hoping he can assist with an ongoing enquiry into an incident in Christchurch in November 2024, and would like to speak with him.

“If this is you, or you know who this is, please contact Police on 105 online or by phone and quote file number: 241112/9129.”

Information can also be provided anonymously via Crime Stoppers on 0800 555 111.

  1. You mean that Immigration doesn’t have this information as to who he is???
    But…Christchurch, Palmy North, Wellington and Auckland are all Sanctuary Cities which take in those who are arriving here.
    Most of them behave, but some bring their third world behaviour problems with them…
    I’m reminded of the Australian who murdered two children in Oz, then came here and murdered a girl in Christchurch- there was no historical screening to stop this, and no one knew that the murderer had committed such crimes in Oz here in NZ until the latter happened.
    Hopefully all immigrants are now being screened, outside of the 501’s being shipped here from Oz, where their crimes are known.
