RFK Jr. sacks entire CDC Vaccine Panel over ‘decades of conflicts’ and ‘lost public trust’

CDC Vaccine Panel news

Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has dismissed all 17 members of the CDC’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP), in what he called a “bold step” toward restoring public trust in vaccine safety oversight.

The committee, responsible for recommending vaccines for Americans, has long faced criticism over conflicts of interest and a perceived lack of transparency.

In an op-ed published by The Wall Street Journal Kennedy wrote, “Vaccines have become a divisive issue in American politics, but there is one thing all parties can agree on: The U.S. faces a crisis of public trust.” He added that regulatory agencies had been plagued by “a history of conflicts of interest, persecution of dissidents, a lack of curiosity, and skewed science.”

Kennedy alleged that ACIP had become a “rubber stamp for any vaccine,” even failing to oppose vaccines later withdrawn for safety issues. He cited past congressional investigations and inspector general reports showing widespread financial ties between committee members and vaccine manufacturers, saying, “Few committee members completed full conflict-of-interest forms—97% of them had omissions.”

He stressed that the move was not about taking a pro- or anti-vaccine stance, but about ensuring independent, unbiased scientific oversight.

“The new members won’t directly work for the vaccine industry,” he stated. “They will exercise independent judgment, refuse to serve as a rubber stamp, and foster a culture of critical inquiry—unafraid to ask hard questions.”

Calling the decision a “clean sweep,” Kennedy said the reconstituted panel will help “re-establish public confidence in vaccine science” and end what he described as decades of unchecked regulatory capture.

  1. Yet no ones gone to jail, and “vaccines” still on the table because its Big Pharma “independent” science now.

  2. It will be difficult to fight corruption at this level. In actual society, everybody , especially ” top dogs” want money for nothing. No effort, no honor, only endless greed

  3. The real problem here is the on going belief, in so called “vaccine science” as the one stop, “cure all”….Suffice to say, it really doesn’t matter who is selling snake oil as a panacea for all your woes, its still snake oil……

  4. RFK Jr. has only been in office for approx 100 days into a 4 year appointment… Give him a chance. Got to start somewhere. Is a big change to the past ‘revolving door of politics’ by seeking true independent review.

Excellent he calls ‘public trust’ as being the driver. That gives power and voice to the people. This is the big reset happening.

He can’t prosecute vaccine crimes. But he can drive it into senate hearing.

Hopefully he can reverse Clinton era corrupt Vaccine Court to enable civil action against big pharma. Class action lawsuits will bring them down.

    • Yep, hopefully RFK Jr can accelerate the changes he is making because there is only a limited 4 year timeframe as you point out. The first deadline though are the midterm elections in 2026 in which the Republicans might lose some of congress or senate or whatever they do there. So I’d hope he acts even faster over the next 18 months because the opportunity may disappear.

But I’m gobsmacked that existing safeguards like the “conflict-of-interest forms” were 97% incomplete – so these problems must have existed for ages and become somehow normalised and entrenched. Need to go really hard if he is fighting corrupt systems like that. Top marks to him so far.
