Hurricanes punish error-ridden Brumbies in 45-12 rout

The Hurricanes surged to the top of the Super Rugby Pacific ladder with a dominant 45-12 win over the Brumbies, capitalising on a string of first-half errors and poor kicking that left the Australians chasing the game from the outset.

Winger Fehi Fineanganofo starred with four tries, including a first-half hat-trick, as the Hurricanes built a commanding 19-0 lead by halftime, aided by the Brumbies repeatedly kicking possession dead and failing to build pressure.

Despite brief second-half resistance, including tries to David Feliuai and Corey Toole, the Brumbies were unable to recover, with the Hurricanes responding each time and pulling away late to seal a comprehensive bonus-point victory.
