South Sydney have completed a season double over Melbourne after holding off a late fightback to claim a dramatic 28-26 victory at Accor Stadium in Sydney.
The injury-hit Rabbitohs dug deep to secure the narrow win in a match that swung repeatedly, with both sides trading tries throughout the contest. Melbourne’s hopes were further dented when star hooker Harry Grant was forced from the field with a hamstring injury, adding to the Storm’s growing casualty list.
