Sherrock stuns Littler to win $1.9m darts prize

Fallon Sherrock delivered a sensational upset against two-time world darts champion Luke Littler, pocketing NZ$1.9 million during a Netflix special at Manchester Central.

The 32-year-old Englishwoman became the first of 15 challengers to defeat Littler, producing a flawless 15-dart leg of 501 and sealing victory with a double-top finish.

Sherrock, famously dubbed the “Queen of the Palace” after becoming the first woman to win a match at the PDC World Championship in 2019, was overcome with emotion as she celebrated alongside her son Rory, who was attending his first darts event.

The landmark victory earned Sherrock the largest payday of her career, while Littler praised her performance as “world class” and expressed enthusiasm for another Netflix event next year.
