Julian McMahon, acclaimed Australian actor and son of former Prime Minister Sir William McMahon, has died aged 56 following a private battle with cancer.
He passed away peacefully in Clearwater, Florida, as confirmed by his wife Kelly, who praised his love for life, family, and fans. McMahon rose to fame in Australia with Home and Away before achieving international success with roles in Charmed, Profiler, and most notably Nip/Tuck, earning a Golden Globe nomination.
His final appearances included roles in The Surfer and Netflix’s The Residence.
McMahon was previously married to Dannii Minogue and actress Brooke Burns, with whom he had a daughter, and had been married to Kelly since 2014.
