Missouri woman jailed for brazen fraud plot to steal Elvis Presley’s Graceland

Graceland fraud news

Lisa Jeanine Findley has been sentenced to more than four years in prison for orchestrating a fraudulent scheme to seize Graceland, Elvis Presley’s iconic Memphis estate.

Findley pleaded guilty to felony mail fraud after creating a fake company, falsifying documents, forging Lisa Marie Presley’s signature, and attempting to foreclose on the property with a fabricated $3.8 million loan.

She even published a false auction notice before Elvis’s granddaughter, Riley Keough, intervened in court.

Prosecutors described the plan as a “wild” and “highly sophisticated” attempt to defraud the Presley family and profit from America’s most famous rock ’n’ roll landmark.
