Victoria Premier Dan Andrews has entered self-isolation after he attended a party with a COVID positive case.
Andrews is awaiting the outcome of his test.
Victorian rules state contacts of known COVID cases must self-isolate until a negative test result.
The party has been described as a ‘swanky’ celebration for a 50th birthday held at Elwood Bathers, one of Melbourne’s ‘premier event venues.’
Andrews had just started one month’s holiday leave.
