The UK media have gone full-on with COVID fear propaganda following the emergence of the comparatively harmless Omicron variant in the country.
This week all the major newspapers ran front page NHS ads imploring Britons to get their third booster shot. This is despite the fact that studies show 4 out of every 5 COVID deaths for the month to mid-December were either double or triple vaxed. A growing body of scientific research also confirms that COVID vaxes do not prevent transmission or infection.
The full page ads appeared on The Daily Express, The Guardian, The Mirror, The Times, The Daily Star and The Daily Telegraph (UK), among others.
This is despite the fact that studies show 4 out of every 5 COVID deaths for the month to mid-December were either double or triple vaxed.
There is a bit of sleigh-of-hand or rather sleight-of-statistics. Now, ask yourself: if 100% of the population is vaxed (once, twice or thrice) what percentage of the deaths will occur among the vaxed population? Clearly 100%.
