Arrest warrant issued for Katie Price after missing bankruptcy hearing

Katie Price bankruptcy news

British media personality Katie Price, 46, is facing an arrest warrant after failing to attend a court hearing related to her ongoing bankruptcies.

Declared bankrupt for the second time in March over an unpaid tax bill of £761,994.05, Price was required to appear in court to discuss her financial situation but instead travelled to Turkey for cosmetic surgery.

Judge Catherine Burton issued the arrest warrant following her absence, which follows a pattern as Price missed a previous hearing in April for a trip to Cyprus.

Price’s financial troubles have been longstanding, with her first bankruptcy declared in 2019 over £3.2 million in unpaid debts.

Despite an eviction notice and mounting pressure from HMRC, she insists her financial issues are under control, stating she would “never hit rock bottom again.” However, her repeated no-shows in court and significant unpaid tax bills suggest otherwise. Legal experts told GB News the situation for Price was serious, noting potential contempt of court charges, fines, or imprisonment for her continued non-compliance.
