Deborra-Lee Furness has spoken publicly for the first time since filing for divorce from Hugh Jackman, expressing compassion for those who’ve experienced betrayal and calling the end of their 27-year marriage a “profound wound.”
In a statement to media, the 69-year-old actress said she believes the universe works in our favor, despite painful circumstances.
The couple, who met in 1995 and adopted two children, announced their separation in September 2023.
Jackman, 56, has not directly addressed Furness’s remarks but recently posted a light-hearted video to Instagram, skipping to Bye Bye Bye by NSYNC.
