Justin Timberlake resumed his Forget Tomorrow world tour in Chicago on Friday, just days after being arrested for driving while intoxicated in Sag Harbor, New York.

Addressing the crowd at the United Center Timberlake acknowledged the tough week he had endured but expressed gratitude for the support from fans.

The arrest occurred early Tuesday morning when Timberlake was observed driving erratically in Sag Harbor. According to police, he failed to stop at a stop sign and struggled with field sobriety tests.

Timberlake, who admitted to having a martini before driving, refused a chemical test and was subsequently arrested.

Released without bail, he is scheduled for a court appearance on July 26. Following his Chicago performances, Timberlake’s tour will continue with scheduled shows in New York and Boston before moving internationally and concluding in Missouri by December.

  1. Reminder that this guy was on the Mickey Mouse Club as a child in the 90’s along with Britney, Christina, Gosling and others. Drink, drugs and mental issues seem to be the norm for them.
