The Princess of Wales, Catherine, made an unexpected appearance in Southport alongside Prince William to meet with the bereaved families of three children killed in a tragic knife attack in July.
This marked Catherine’s first public engagement since completing her chemotherapy treatment.
The couple privately met with the families of the victims and the emergency responders who handled the devastating event. Catherine appeared to be visibly moved, and hugged several emergency workers.
