Brisbane plumber caught on camera in sickening act

Brisbane plumber news

The man was recommended to the customer by a friend.

Security cameras set up in a woman’s home have filmed a Brisbane tradie engaging in a shocking act, which could have had serious health consequences.

The plumber was called to fix the woman’s toilet and shower. The cameras at first showed the man rummaging through her bedroom drawers. But it’s what happened next which has landed the man in deep water.

The footage captures him using a rolling pin from the kitchen to fix the toilet. He then put the baking tool back in the drawer where he found it, without cleaning it.

The victim said the act was ‘sickening’, and could have made someone ‘desperately ill.’

A pair of earrings also went missing, and a complaint was made to the police.

Queensland Police released a statement confirming a man had been charged with entering a dwelling to commit an indictable offence.

‘On March 1, between 9.15am and 9.45am, the 50-year-old Chermside West man attended a Milton unit lawfully to conduct maintenance. Police will allege the 50-year-old, while already in the unit, stole a pair of earrings.’

The case is currently in the Brisbane Magistrates Court. The man has been granted name suppression until his next appearance on 3 May.
