Rapper Kid Cudi testified in Sean “Diddy” Combs’ sex trafficking and racketeering trial in New York, claiming the music mogul broke into his Los Angeles home in 2011 after learning of Cudi’s brief relationship with Cassie Ventura, Combs’ then-girlfriend.
Cudi described a tense confrontation in which he accused Combs of being inside his house and later found his dog locked in a bathroom and family gifts unwrapped.
He said Cassie was fearful of Combs, alleging he had hit and kicked her.
Cudi claimed that weeks after the incident, his Porsche was firebombed with a Molotov cocktail — an attack he believed was intentional, though police never filed charges. Despite the tension, Cudi said Combs later apologised privately.
Additional testimonies painted a picture of excess and alleged abuse.
A hotel manager described how Combs’ stays left rooms drenched in baby oil and candle wax, requiring costly deep cleaning.
Meanwhile, Combs’ former assistant, George Kaplan, recounted witnessing violent outbursts, including attacks on Cassie and another woman.
Though initially starstruck, Kaplan said he quit after realising he could no longer justify the behaviour.
