Disabled JetStar passenger Natalie Curtis forced to crawl down aisle

Natalie Curtis was flying from Singapore to Bangkok when the humiliating experience unfolded.

Told she would have to pay for use of an aisle chair – a type of special wheelchair designed to be used on a plane – she refused, saying she had never be required to pay for such an item in the past.

However media reports suggested payment was not required and the real reason for the incident was a communication mix-up which made arrival of the aisle chair 40 minutes late.

Curtis was traveling with a friend Natasha Elford, who filmed the incident. Elford explained that she couldn’t help her friend due to a knee injury, and although offered to pick up and carry Curtis, that was potentially more dangerous if they had dropped her.

Elford filmed the incident which was shared widely on social media and television news.

Curtis said she had boarded the flight in Singapore with no problems – the aisle chair was used, but the problem developed when disembarking in Bangkok where no aisle chair was available.

  1. JetStar and other ‘low-cost’ airlines…you get what you pay for, which isn’t much.
Have a look at the brawls on Spirit Airlines, and note the types of…’humans’… that seemingly engage in such behaviours, both on the plane and in the terminals.
Air travel is being restricted and deliberately made to be unpleasant.
Look at how families with autistic children are treated!!!
The Elite have their own subscription service private ‘airlines’, for those who cannot afford or find it feasible to own Citations, Gulfstreams, Global Jets, etc. this is what the subscribe to on a ‘ride share’ basis.
Look it up, as it’s never reported on.
It’s all about ‘Empty Skies’ where the Elite can travel pumping out tonnes of exhaust carbon per minute, while WE are ‘encouraged’ to cut our ‘Carbon Footprint’ and go without cars, aircraft, and electricity!
    What hypocrisy!!!
