Police are seeking the public’s assistance to identify the people pictured, as they may have information that can assist with an ongoing investigation.

At around 6pm on 2 March, a member of the public was assaulted by a group of unknown people on Sandwich Road, St Andrews.

The victim, who is autistic and has the mental age of a 6-year-old, sustained moderate injuries and is understandably very shaken by this incident.

“We’d like to speak to these people pictured, or anybody who can identify them”, said police in a statement.

“If you recognise these people, or have information that could assist Police, please contact us via 105, either over the phone or online. Reference file number 250303/5338.”

Information can also be provided anonymously via Crime Stoppers on 0800 555 111.
