Appeal for information following Frankton fire

Hamilton Police are continuing to investigate an arson at a commercial premises in Frankton.

At around 11:30am yesterday, Police were called to the Ellis Street building.

A scene examination involving Police and a Fire Investigator is taking place today.

“We would like to hear from anyone who witnessed any activity at or around the premises yesterday morning leading up to the fire”, said Detective Sergeant Matt Lee.

“This includes any CCTV or dashcam footage.

“Anyone with information that could assist is asked to contact Police via 105, either by calling or online.

“Please quote file number 250310/3418.”

Information can also be provided anonymously via Crime Stoppers on 0800 555 111.
