Appeal for information following Rotorua crash

Bay of Plenty Police investigating a crash involving a Police vehicle in Rotorua last week are seeking the public’s assistance.

The crash involved a Police vehicle and a motorbike at around 2:35pm on Tuesday 28 July, on Malfroy Road. No injuries were reported.

“Police want to identify and speak to the person pictured, as we believe they may have information that could assist our investigation”, said police in a statement.



“We’re also seeking any witnesses to the crash.

“If you have any information that could assist, or help us identify the person pictured, please contact Police via 105, either over the phone or online at 105.police.govt.nz.”

  1. This dude can’t have had his “smartphone” on him, otherwise they would have tracked him already. Seen all the monster cell towers being erected all over the country. Paint them dark green so we can’t see them.
